Just trying to get as much money as possibile in every possible HIDDEN ways. Hand baggage was charged only on return way. Asked for clarification, no reply. Charged for extra services without any clear explanation. Same happened to another customer travelling next to us.
Pay attention to this WIZZ AIR SCAM: Just came back from Budapest, where I was asked to pay additional EUR 46.5 for my small baggage. I refused as on my way from Eindhoven to Budapest my bag was perfectly OK. The rude steward (surname Kiss) demanded a payment without even listening to me. Without a choice I had to pay otherwise I will be left at the airport. Mrs. Kiss charged me EUR 46.5 although on the website and on the phone with their call center Mrs. Magda confirmed payment of EUR 35 and provided with an invoice of EUR 33.88 ??!!@@@### WHERE ARE MY EUR 11.5 ?? WHY I WAS CHARGED IF ON MY WAY THERE I WASN’T ASK TO !!!!
Called Customer Service (better not to use these phrases as this call center is everything but Customer Service). Agents on the phone were unhelpful and couldn’t assist. Only tried to blame me for choosing the wrong subject in my contact form, like this is not a PAYMENT ERROR!! I googled this topic and look what I found… So many complaints of the same type: On one way the small baggage is OK , but on the return way customers were asked to pay additional fees. Check this links: SEEMS LIKE THIS IS A SCAM BY WIZZ AIR. SHARE AND ALERT OTHERS. I am still in contact with them trying to figure out but they are really useless ignoring and lying!!
because of the experience with wizzair i felt /and still feel- bitter and humiliated:1-flight 3092 on 27 january 2014 from dortmund to bucharest. the flight was delayed but we were rushed to do the checking in and to pass thru the security gate- when i asked to talk with a representative the answer was:- we don't have time for that- and, after passing the security i had to wait one more hour until we got into the plane. 2-the checking box for the small cabin luggage- in the airport of dortmund- doesn't have the standard size- instead of 25x32x42- it is 24x31x41- because of the wrong way of welding the bars.- I WAS CHARGED 35 EUROS... i had 34,65 euros on me- they didn't let me go... i had to ask someone - a stranger for 35 cents... 3- i was charged with an extra fee -but nobody cares that by luggage had the standard dimensions, it passed the checking in romania and in italy but it did't pass the checking in dortmund germany...
Upon check-in of my hand luggage which didn't fit to the measurement box for small cabin baggage (due to a small- really small- plastic at the weels), I was told quite rude to step away from the queue and wait until a "lady" would come to charge for big cabin luggage fee. While I was waiting several other passengers had the same issue - due to minor size differences (really small) they had to queue for payment. Most of them were very angry that for quite small baggages (which are standard for cabin) they had to pay 35 euros. To make things even worse the fee could be paid ONLY WITH A CREDIT CARD due to whatever financial reason. I only had cash (euro) with me..like any other human being on the planet. I asked the "nice lady" what should I do, as I don;t have a credit card with me to pay. The answer was: "I don;t know, check with my colleague, it's not my problem, ask the other passengers to pay for you with their credit card !?!?!?" There were also other passengers in my situation, all were angry and couldn't believe how a company can treat their customers with such non-sense and create such a miserable customer experience. Was lucky to find one passenger that accepted to pay with his credit card the fee and could board on the plane. I've heard so many people talking in the bus to the plane that this is too much and they will never fly with Wizz. Can someone blame them?
They can be cheap, especially on routes from Poland to Scandinavian countries. But their on-time records are very poor, they seem not to have backup planes (like Ryanair does) so when there is a technical fault or foggy weather the flight can be delayed for 6-8h and it means that ALL flights scheduled this day on this aircraft will be delayed. They also don't respect EU261/2004 and don't pay the compensation.
No service at all. Grumpy and unpleasant personel. Their website and booking is hopeless and hard to use. To customer service, they don't reply on e-mails and the only phone number available is something like 1 euro/min. You will be put on hold for several minutes and when someone picks up the phone they are just rude.
Companies like Wizzair should be put out of business. Make Yourself and everybody else a favour and fly with Another Company that actually cares about service.
It is cheap, I mean really CHEAP. Especially if you have to use the ridiculous Tuzla airport. There are numerous employees, but none of them do their job. Arrival and pass control are miserable, slow and careless. Renting a car is an experience seen in a sarcastic movie. From landing to starting the car took me 135 minutes (onehundredthirtyfive) - same as flight from Sweden! Check in on the same airport is respect-less, unprofessional in an airport building that is actually a warehouse or big garage. And you need to be there hours before, as they are closing 'gate' 45 mins before. Although the plane is just a hundred meters away, and the only one at the time. There's only a joint they point as cafe filled with cigarette smoke, and nothing else. Prior to boarding, prison guard alike stuff even force ladies to squeeze purses into hand baggage. My wife had to press hardly hers A Martini, 500+€ worth purse/ bag into cabin baggage - really humiliating and turned out to be expensive for irreparable damage on the fine leather. While waiting for a hour or more for boarding you are pushed in a small, inadequate waiting room with one vending machine (wouldn't test my luck to purchase something of expired date). Terrible! WIZZ air is even worse. The flight attendants are rude, smile-less and miss to execute even the minimum courtesy. The customer service is bandit like, helpless, unmotivated, service Non minded and on top of it a minute phone charge is one €!!! For what?? God bless established air carriers-thanks to WIZZ and similar budget air carriers, we realize how good they are!!!
Som udgangspunkt meget billige billetter! Men vær 100% sikker på at din håndbaggage overholder deres latterlige mål, som er meget mindre end de fleste andre selskabers inklusiv andre billig selskaber. Turen blevet meget dyrere end forventet for de fleste af os. Surt personale og latterlig boardingkø og ingen sædenumre så alt var kaos!
Seems as though the system is cheating passenger who want to change their ticket even after purchasing whizz flex !
I am now trying to change my flight for the second time having purchased wizz flex. I have been asked to pay a price difference that shouldn t exist.
The price when logged on and trying to change ticket is GBP 153.99 while the price when not logging in but just simply buying the ticket is GBP 109.93. The ticket has been purchased with wizz flex which means the price for the flight should be exactly the same.
I have made a recording of the process as well as print screens of the difference. I also have all the documentation of the purchased ticket. I'm planning to make sure this gets posted everywhere !
Ti sconsiglio questa compagnia, ho gia volato due volte con loro ma è sicuro che non accadra piu. Mi hanno fatto pagare anche il sudore, ultimamente si sono inventati che per darti il biglietto regolarmente pagato in anticipo compreso di tariffe aeroportuali, compreso di bagaglio a mano e bagaglio stiva, hanno voluto altri 35 euro, "direttive da wizzair, se vuole piu informazioni deve chiedere a wizzair". Inoltre, per avere la faccia pulita mi hanno emmesso uno acontrino di 15 euro anzichè 35 con la scrita eccedenza bagaglio???? Ma se il mio pesava meno di 18 kg? Figli di buona madre, almeno pagate le tasse per tutti i 35 euro, non evadete l'iva. Vergogna, schifo, non comprero mai piu un biglietto da loro.
I have used them quite a lot and I am happy with their cheap prices and nice destinations. If you have a problem though it is a mere suicide to get it resolved. I have been talking to their support quite a lot until they fix my problem and only because I tell them what is the real problem.
I can recommend them for cheap flights but not for some planned vacation because they rarely refund or anything else like that.
Beware of their booking mobile app - it is designed to fraud your money. They scammed me for £280.
I attempted to use their mobile app and was charged 4 (FOUR) times for 1 transaction. When I tried to make a booking, the app displayed a message 'the card payment hasn't gone through', so I retyped the card details, thinking I made a typo, the same message appeared, so I switched to my debit card. After having received a third message 'The card payment has been rejected' I moved on to my laptop. The payment on the laptop has gone through fine.
You can appreciate my surprise when, a week later, I discovered 4 transactions from Wizzair, 3 of which were for different amounts of money, and when I logged in to Wizzair, there were 4 bookings for the same name, same flight, same date and the same hour. So, according to Wizzair, I'm going clone myself 4 times,. Summarising, they owe me £280 for 3 of those transactions.
I emailed their customer service, but no response for 8 days and counting. They say if you have an urgent issue you can call them but... the calls cost only 77p per minute!! Nice way of making a few extra bob on top of what they've scammed out of me already.
So not only did they steal my money by abusing my consumer trust, but also want to charge me to speak to them!
I recorded it with my bank as a fraudulent activity and I will get a refund.
Our flight was rescheduled (one day later than booked) and we did not get any discount. We would have loved to just fly back one day later also - if there had been a flight that day. So we were robbed one day from our little weekend trip without any compensation. And calling their customer service seems to be very expensive. There are a few things more that I do not like with the page and the service but that would be too much. PS: I haven't even been really flying with them yet. So we will see how many more problems will appear. I am very disappointed until now.
I used the first time the website of this company in October and I thought it was very good, even the trip to Budapest was positive only sour note for the delay is that we have had more than one hour late for the start, but not I understand from what depended on it. To be a company of low class is not bad for a budget trip.
I was satisfied even though there are hidden prices and so on... but you just have to look closer and be careful. I found it much better than ryanair (where I am sometimes afraid the plane will crash down). I also think that the flight attendants are relly unfriendly but whatever... I travel everywhere for small money and can discover europe :)
Nu sjunker Wizzar ännu lägre och där går faktiskt min gräns för att flyga med dem. Finns andra bolag med bättre villkor och liknande priser. Att stå och bråka om handbagage för den är större än 25 cm är inget jag kan acceptera eller betala för. Idag fick jag mail med nedanstående text: "Om handbagaget är större än (25 x 32 x42 cm).. måste du betala en avgift för att ta med det ombord." Låter som ett skämt .... Nu skall man räkna med ännu större förseningar och fler arga passagerar. Vad blir det nästa som ni skall lägga avgiften på ?
Using Wizz Exclusive Club I bought a ticket for a friend to join me on a previously booked reservation. Now that the ticket is payed for I discover that when using the club I can not put another person's name on the ticket unless it was bought at the same time as my own, even if we are flying on the same plane. So I have two tickets in my name. The fee for modification or cancellation is more than the price of the ticket and it's charged per flight, not per itinerary. I can not get my money back.
I am extremely disappointed with the operations and services of this airline. There is a fee for every form of payment except a Wizz card, there is a fee for airport check-in, a fee for text message updates, a pay-per-minute fee to call customer support, there is a fee for anything that can be imagined. The thing that bothers me the most is that the fees for any kind of modification or cancellation are usually more than the price of the tickets, and are charged per flight, not per itinerary. will never fly with them again or recommend them.
